Who we are

Project 33 Gracie Marie CIC ("Project 33", "we", "us") is a community interest company based in Manchester (CIC registration number 17240571). We transform homes for families facing hardship, using volunteers and donations from the local community.

What information we collect

If you nominate a family:

• Your name, contact number, email, and relationship to the person you're nominating
• The nominee's name, age, and postcode
• Details about their living situation, accessibility needs, and medical needs
• Information about why you're nominating them and what you'd like the project to focus on
• Any additional personal details you choose to share (e.g. favourite colours, hobbies, comfort items)

If you sign up to volunteer:

• Your name, email, phone number, and which areas of volunteering interest you

If you contact us as a business or trade partner:

• Your business name, contact name, email, phone number, and details of what you'd like to offer

If you use our general contact form:

• Your name, email, and message

Why we collect it, and what we do with it

We only collect the information we need to:

• Assess and process nominations for home transformations
• Get in touch with nominators, nominees, and families about next steps
• Coordinate volunteers and match people to suitable roles
• Respond to enquiries from businesses, trades, and the general public
• Keep basic records so we can run Project 33 responsibly as a CIC

We do not use your information for marketing purposes unless you've specifically asked to hear from us, and we do not sell or pass on your information to third parties for their own marketing.

Sensitive information

Nomination forms may include sensitive details about a nominee's health, disability, or accessibility needs. We collect this only because it helps us understand how to support the family appropriately, and we treat this information with extra care. Access to nomination details is limited to the people at Project 33 directly involved in reviewing and progressing that nomination.

Consent and safeguarding

By submitting a nomination, you're confirming that the person you're nominating is aware of the nomination and has agreed to it, including the possibility of a home visit as part of our process. If we have any safeguarding concerns at any stage, we may need to take appropriate steps in line with our safeguarding responsibilities, which could include speaking to relevant agencies.

How long we keep your information

We keep information for as long as it's needed to process a nomination, coordinate a volunteer's involvement, or respond to an enquiry, and not longer than necessary afterwards. If a nomination doesn't go ahead, we will delete the associated personal details within a reasonable period unless there's a good reason to keep a record (for example, if the family asks to be considered again in future).

Where your information is stored

Information submitted through this website is stored securely using our website provider's database systems. We take reasonable steps to make sure this information is protected from unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct anything that's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information, where appropriate
• Withdraw consent at any time (for example, if you no longer want a nomination to be considered)
